The Process from Start to Finish

Step 1 - Consultation & Measuring

From your initial enquiry and a detailed discussion regarding your requirements, we can either work from your own measurements or arrange an appointment to visit. During our consultation on site we will take accurate measurements and discuss all your options in more detail.

Fabric - We are happy to make-up in your own fabric. Alternatively, we can source fabrics from most leading manufacturers, including the following:

Curtain Headings - Hand finished headings including triple pinch pleat, double pinch pleat, goblet pleat and inverted pleat. For a more contemporary look an eyelet or tab top heading. Alternatively, you may wish to have a simple pencil pleat heading tape.

Curtain Lining - Standard lining, interlining or blackout lining are available. All of these are available in a choice of colours and weights.

Roman Blinds and Roller Blinds - Hand-finished Roman blinds with any of the above linings. A selection of roller blinds in various textures including laminated blinds made up in your own fabric. Velux blinds. Venetion blinds in wood or metal.

Curtain Tracks and Curtain Poles - We have an extensive range of both wooden and metal poles together with various curtain tracks to suit all applications.

Accessories - Cushions, seat pads, window seat cushions, headboards, bed throws, bed valances, fitted bed spreads.

Step 2 - Written Estimate

When all of the details have been finalised, we will provide you with a written estimate.


Step 3 - Cutting & Making

If you are totally happy with the estimate and on receipt of your fabric, the making process will begin.

The fabric will be carefully checked and then cut in readiness for making and hand sewing in our workroom.


Step 4 - Delivery & Fitting

On completion of your curtains, blinds, soft furnishings etc. we will contact you to arrange delivery or collection.

We also offer a complete fitting service including new tracks and poles.
